Firstly you can record directly from your TV onto the Hard Drive so you don't have to miss any of your favorite programs when you are out. Simply set the timer and the unit will switch itself on, record the show and then switch itself off. You can then watch at your leisure.

You can also copy all your DVD's to the unit and create a viewing library. No need to have all your DVD's taking up space once you have downloaded them onto the DVR you can watch whenever you want. You can also copy your Photo's onto the DVR and then show them on your TV to friends and family. It's also very portable as it uses a 2.5 inch Hard Drive so you can take it whenever you are going. If your going on holiday then simply take the unit with you and plug it into any TV to view movies and pictures wherever you go.Take it to your family or friends house to show them your latest Photo's on the big screen there are so many different ways you can use this product.

It can also connect directly to your PC or Mac and you can use it to backup files, edit your photo's or movies before you attach it again to the TV. The unit comes with a remote control, easy to navigate interface so you can use this unit from the comfort of your armchair. Pause, fast forward, rewind you name it this unit can do it. The DVR will also allow you to store and play MP3 music files

Will this unit record from Satellite and Digital TV Channels?
Yes it will record from both these mediums.

Is there a card reader built into the DVR?
Yes the unit has an SD Card reader built in and there are adapters available for other media types

How much space will one hour of high quality recording take?
1 hour of recording takes up 600Mb of space on the hard drive

What is the highest quality of output from this unit?
You can output up to 1080i(1920*1080)HDMI

Can the unit work on NSTC as well as PAL?
Yes the unit works equally well on NSTC and PAL so if you are visiting a country that only accepts NSTC you can use this unit.

This varies depending on file size but with a 100Gb unit you can store
