Warranty/Terms and Conditions
We have tried to make our Warranty/Returns policy as clear as we can but we do understand that we can't list every eventuality so if there is any doubt at all please contact us.
Please remember that for any return you must call or email us first so that we can issue you with an RMA Number. This is simply to ensure your goods can be tracked through our system and is not used as a mechanism to slow down the process of return. Remember we guarantee to reply to any phone call or email the same business day so any enquiry is dealt with quickly. Please note we reserve the right to refuse delivery and or return any items to you that are returned without a Returns Number being issued.
Disclaimer
CBA Digital make every effort to ensure that all prices and descriptions quoted on its web site are correct and accurate. There are times however when mistakes will occur. In this instance of any error or omission, CBA Digital will be entitled to rescind the contract, notwithstanding that it has already accepted the Customer's order and/or received payment from the Customer.
CBA Digitals only liability in that event will be limited to the return of any money the Customer has paid in respect of the order
All images are used for illustration purposes only. From time to time manufacturers will change the colour or design of there unit without notice. CBA Digital cannot be held liable for such changes.
Returns
Customers are responsible for ensuring that goods that they return to us are sent back in correct packaging to ensure the product is not damaged in transit. An example of unacceptable packaging for example would be to send a drive back in no packaging and just put in an envelope. In these situations its often very difficult to assess if the damage was caused before or after it was sent to us. We reserve the right to refuse to repair any items sent back to us in unacceptable packaging or goods that have clearly been damaged in transit.
Please also be aware that the warranty does not cover Physical damage. This means if the item has been dropped or suffered water damage etc it will not be covered under the warranty and will be treated as an out of warranty repair.
Batteries
The warranty on any battery supplied with a product is 90 days. This applies to both fixed and removable batteries
Out of Warranty Repairs
We are happy to look at products for customers that are either out of warranty or that were not supplied by us. You simply obtain an RMA number in the usual way. We assess the product and then let you know if we can repair it and if we can the cost involved. We then advise you of the cost and you decide if you wish to proceed. Please be advised if you do not wish to proceed and require us to return the item we will charge you 12.99 to send the item back.

Goods Faulty on Arrival
If you are reporting faulty goods within 28 days of receipt (business customers this is 14 days), and when the goods are returned to CBA Digital complete then we will issue you with a replacement product or a full refund whichever you prefer. Please note however that if you report the product as faulty within 72 hours of arrival then we CBA Digital unlike most other companies will reimburse you the cost of sending the goods back.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If your goods were damaged in transit, we request that you report it to us within 7 days however we would ask you do this as quickly as is possible. Once the damaged goods have been collected and received back into our warehouse, we'll issue a full refund to you via your original payment method or simply send you a replacement item whichever you prefer us to do. Although its not your responsibility it's also a big help to us if you can take a picture of the package and email it to us so we can use this if we need to make a claim. This is not a requirement but does help us and if you do this we will ensure you get a discount on any future purchases
Goods Faulty in Warranty Period
If you are reporting faulty goods after 28 days of receipt, then provided the item is within the warranty period then you can have the item repaired or replaced under warranty.
If You Have Changed Your Mind
If you have changed your mind and you are a private customer (not applicable to business customers), and the goods have not been in your possession for over 10 days, then you are entitled to return the goods to us for a full refund if you have taken reasonable care of the product until it is returned to us. We hope that this does not happen as we try to ensure we give you the best advice prior to purchase but if it does then you need to ensure the following
- not open shrink-wrapped or blister pack products or break any manufacturers seals.
- not load software onto any PC or laptop.
- return in good condition all packaging, manuals, cables etc
- return the goods in a condition that would enable CBA Digital to resell them as new
Please note that the cost of returning these items is the responsibility of the customer. Note: Return carriage costs paid by the customer
Component Parts
At CBA Digital we always use top quality component parts. All items that we supply come with a minimum of 12 month warranty however on items that are built using internal Hard Drives on occasion the warranty can be up to 3 years depending on the Hard Drive that we use. We will also from time to time use Recertified Hard Drives in our products. These are drives which are purchased directly from the manufacturer through there Re-Certification programs. These units go through all the same tests and quality controls as a new drive and come with a 12 month warranty. For the sake of clarity all items that we supply will come with a 12 month warranty including parts and labor unless otherwise stated. If you wish us to clarify exactly what drive is used in our products including brand, warranty term or need clarification on Re Certified products then please call us for details
Data on Hard Drives/Storage Devices
If you have a problem with a storage device, a hard drive or a PhotoBank for example we can only offer you a warranty on the item itself and not the Data contained on the drive. Under the warranty CBA cannot be held liable for any loss of data due to a fault with the product. CBA will not be responsible for recovery of customer data from returned products that incorporate data storage and cannot be held liable to any costs involved in the loss or recovery of this data. We strongly advise any customers who have key critical data to make a back up copy in case of a malfunction. We will always endeavor to work with you to help with data recovery where possible.
Delivery Policy
We always dispatch orders within 2 working days of receipt of the order. All goods unless otherwise stated are sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded delivery which means they need to be signed for upon delivery. For International Delivery we used the Royal Mail International Signed for Service. From time to time it is possible that an item may be out of stock and lead to a longer delivery time however in such a circumstance we would always ensure that we contact the purchaser by email or telephone to inform them of this delay and to advise them of when the item will be dispatched. For larger orders we also can use Next Day courier services however again in such an event the purchaser would be advised of who we were using and when the goods would arrive. Again we would inform you of this by either email or telephone.
Next Day Delivery
Please be advised that next day delivery can only be guaranteed on orders placed before 1pm Mon to Fri. Orders placed on Sat and Sun for Next day delivery will be dispatched Monday for Delivery Tuesday. Any orders placed for next day delivery on Public Holidays will also not be dispatched until the following day. If you have any questions about delivery times or need your item to be delivered on a specific day or time then please call us to ensure we can meet your requirements. CBA cannot be held liable for any item that is not delivered within a specific time frame as we rely on third party couriers and Royal Mail to carry out our deliveries

Physical Damage and Warranty
Please be advised that if the product has been damaged due to misuse or physical damage we cannot guarantee to repair the item under its warranty. This applies to products that have been for example dropped and incurred physical damage and or being wrongly used and in turn suffered Physical damage.Please also be advised that your warranty will be void if the unit has been tampered with and or opened. For example if you have a Portable Drive or PhotoBank and the unit is opened and the drive either removed or replaced with another.
Warranty Term and Parts Used
We use a number of different parts and components in our products. Regardless of component parts or products used all our items come with a minimum of 12 months warranty. This warranty is supplied as a return to base warranty. This means in the event you need to return a product to us under warranty the cost of returning the item to us is at your cost and the cost of sending the item back to you after repair or replacement is at our cost. There are times where we will use what are termed as Grade A or Certified Repaired parts in our products. These parts go through the same rigorous tests as all our component parts and come with the same full warranty.
